  • Attending and preparing agendas for monthly executive team meetings and monthly membership meetings

  • Leading fundraising efforts for this volunteer run program including the return of our Building Blue Banquet, which resulted in gross fundraising in excess of $15,500 in February 2026 - a 72% increase in revenue from the prior year - and our newly established Spring Forward Mixer, which resulted in gross fundraising in excess of $6,000 in March 2026

  • Collaborating closely with the Iowa Democratic Party and coordinated campaign for even year GOTV and organizing efforts

  • Managing donor, volunteer, and voter data via VAN, ActBlue, and ActionNetwork to ensure transparency and retention of knowledge through leadership changes

  • Re-envisioned and project managed 2025 Neighbor to Neighbor and GOTV campaigns to elect Democrats in Ankeny including digital and print campaigns as well as door-to-door canvassing and phone banking

  • Oversaw and project managed rebranding and website development in 2025

  • Facilitated updates to our governing bylaws in March 2025

  • Writing and distributing a monthly newsletter with legislative updates and updating our contact data via Mailchimp (March 2023-July 2024) and ActionNetwork (August 2024-Present)

  • Planning and executing two annual fundraising events including event logistics, marketing, ticket sales, and sponsorships

  • Booking monthly guest speakers for membership meetings

  • Facilitating the design and purchase of all print materials

  • Recruiting, training, and managing volunteers for door knocking, postcard writing, phone calling, and our Neighbor to Neighbor program

  • Launched social and email marketing campaigns in August 2023, which resulted in the election of all five candidates Ankeny Democrats had on the ballot

  • Led volunteer training for the September 2021 Special Election

  • Led volunteer training for the November 2021 city and school board elections

  • Wrote postcards for Iowa House of Representative Candidates during the 2020 election

  • Led the Ankeny 02 Precinct Caucus as Secretary on February 3, 2019
